Nielsen Beaumont Marine has been in business since 1979, but in the summer of 2011, a complete remodeling was begun that transformed the boatyard into one of America's most modern and environmentally advanced facilities.

A major goal in the reconstruction of our boatyard was to create a modern "green" facility that minimizes any contamination both on shore and in the bay. To accomplish that, our new equipment recycles the water we use in yard jobs for re-use in subsequent jobs.

To protect the surroundings of our boatyard

on shore, our new facility includes a closed loop recycling system for all hydro-wash waste water as well as the capture and treating all storm water - resulting in a zero discharge facility.

Another major feature was the replacement of the old marine railway with a new 75 metric ton (82.5 U.S. Tons) Marine Travelift.
